 Oldbury Swimming Club is one of the oldest swimming clubs in West Midlands and the club is now enjoying a fast growth, due to its competitive success, work with the community and regular press coverage.OSTC provides swimming opportunities for hundreds of local children from 3 year olds learning to swim through to Senior Swimmers The ambition of the OSTC committee is to continue the club’s excellent progress at all levels and make it one of the most successful swimming environments in the county.  The recent appointment of a new Head Coach underlines this commitment. Finance is the greatest barrier to our club’s development. Oldbury Swimming Club is a non-profit making organisation, run by volunteers.  We are therefore now seeking additional funding to enable the club to achieve its aims and involve more children from the local community. This is an opportunity for you to raise the profile of your organisation through the visibility Oldbury Swimming Club can give to your financial support.OSTC is committed to:

Through the support of our sponsors we aim to benefit swimmers across all areas of our club by:

  • Expanding the training and development of volunteers.
  • Conducting additional 50m training.
  • Participating in training camps.
  • Securing extra pool time.
  • Implementing a land training programme.
  • Offering specialist coaching.
  • Providing essential training equipment & resources.

The club committee works to maximise the fundraising opportunities that exist, however, we also recognise the need to tap into the resource within our club, i.e. our members. Therefore please consider the following questions:

  • Does your employer operate any form of match-funding support? 
  • Is your employer able to offer any form of donation or sponsorship?
  • Do you know of any possible sources of funding/sponsorship?
  • Do you have experience of securing funding/sponsorship?
  • Do you have any free time to help with our fundraising work? 
  • Do you have any ideas that you believe would assist the club in securing funding/sponsorship?
  • This issue is hugely important and represents an excellent opportunity for you to make a real difference to the club, its development and the support it can offer swimmers.
